What’s your favorite thing about being a makeup artist?I love making a woman feel like her absolute best self, instilling confidence, and the overall connection I get with a client is always a wonderful experience. And of course the artistry and creativity has been a passion of mine since I can remember.
Briefly tell me how you got started in the makeup/ beauty biz?I started practicing on my little sister at age 15 from pages of Kevyn Aucoin’s books. I started working at MAC Cosmetics in 2004 and have been doing professional makeup jobs since then.
Stuck on an island, must have, absolute favorite product and why?One product?! Josie Maran daily moisturizer with SPF 47. I’m big on protecting and nourishing your skin. This one is infused with Argan Oil and gives a beautiful dewy finish.
When you aren’t making babes more beautiful what your favorite thing to do in your leisure time?Spend time with my family. My daughter is 3 years old and is growing up so fast! I love watching her little personality develop. A close second is a glass of wine and some quiet time. Balance! Lol
s there anything that you want to share with potential clients that we haven’t asked?Always remember that beauty begins from within but makeup doesn’t hurt ;)
